9.1 Right to know what personal information is being collected about you

    Security

    Our website uses specialist security software - Shield Security. This helps to ensure data breaches do not occur and our website and data are protected against hacking attempts and intrusion.     Cookies

    1. The Shield Security plugin never stores any sensitive, personally identifiable information in any cookie at any time.
    2. In the case that the Shield Security plugin needs to redirect a visitor or any request, it may use a cookie to prevent repeated/infinite redirect loops.
    3. For registered/logged-in users, the Shield Security plugin uses a cookie to track user sessions and control the display of certain in-plugin admin notices.

    Data Storage: User Sessions

    The Shield Security plugin has an Audit Trail feature that will log the following information:
    1. Audit Trail message that may include email addresses
    2. Logged-in username (where applicable)
    3. The originating IP address of the request
    For logged-in users, this represents information that may be used to locate (by IP address) and identify individuals and their activity on the site. This information is stored for security purposes by the site administrator. This data will be retained and then automatically purged from the database after a fixed time period, as determined by the site administrator. (Currently, this is set to 14 days.)

    Nextend Social Login

    What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

    Nextend Social Login collects data when a visitor register, login or links the account with any of the enabled social providers. It collects the following data: email address, name, social provider identifier, an access token. Also, it can collect profile pictures and more fields with the Pro Addon's sync data feature.

    Who do we share your data with?

    Nextend Social Login stores the personal data on your site and does not share it with anyone except the access token used for the authenticated communication with the social providers.

    Does the plugin share personal data with third parties?

    Nextend Social Login uses the access token that the social provider gave to communicate with the providers to verify accounts and securely access personal data.

    How long do we retain your data?

    Nextend Social Login removes the collected personal data when the user is deleted from WordPress.

    Does the plugin use personal data collected by others?

    Nextend Social Login uses the personal data collected by the social providers to create an account on your site when the visitor authorizes it.

    Does the plugin store things in the browser?

    Yes, Nextend Social Login must create a cookie for visitors who use the social login authorization flow. This cookie required for every provider to secure the communication and to redirect the user back to the last location.
